Unlocked Fury: Legacy

Crimson is dead, slain by Casmir in an act of self defense after she revealed the truth about why she wanted Amber around in Drakania so much.  With the last Erythrean dragon gone, along with the risk of being mind-controlled, Amber remained in Drakania, determined to continue her exploration.  

 

Under the guidance of Queen Lapis and her council of dragons, she focused on learning everything and anything the Drakanian City had to offer.  At the same time, she studied her powers, though compared to when she was Crimson’s Bonded, she hardly used them at all.

 

In Liavis, Casmir’s father, the Captain of the Diavian Guard, gave a public announcement that put the entire city on high alert — there had been a possible lead on the identity of the Unlocked, and it was up to Casmir to ‘discover’ who it was.

 

That is, it was up to Casmir to capture Amber and bring her back to face trial for simply being an Unlocked.  But he couldn’t do that to his best friend.

 

Finding Amber was the easy part.  The hard part was playing this cat-and-mouse game well enough to satisfy the ruler in Regia Diavum without giving away too much.
