Amber had always known what she wanted -- to see what lay beyond her home in the city of Liavis.  Her father had been one of the most well known explorers in the city.  He was one of the few who journeyed to Drakania, and lived to tell the tale.  He was who she aspired to be.

 

She grew up listening to stories about dragons and a mythical dragon kingdom that no one had ever seen before.  Stories about the dangers and perils that she’d be faced with should she accompany her father on one of his journeys.  

 

Those stories never deterred her though.  If anything, it made her desire to see the dragon kingdom grow.  When her father disappeared, her dreams didn’t, even though in her mind, she thought that there was no one else to show her the dragons, the mythical city.

 

Even during the months that followed his disappearance, she pushed on.  Hoping to one day step past the cluster of boulders that marked the borders between Diavum and Drakania, and see what was beyond the world she knew.

 

Finding an arkey and becoming an Unlocked only helped with that, even if she tried to convince herself otherwise.
